About

A designer of worlds, frame by frame.

Wesley Dogan is a Production Designer and Art Director based between Toronto and Los Angeles. Since 2012 he has been designing and fabricating worlds for feature films, television, commercials, live event stages, custom builds, property development and independent private projects.

His feature credits as Production Designer include Snowy Day In Oakland, Behind the Walls and Shiner, alongside television work on Food Truck Face Off and Netflix's White Rabbit Project. In music video and live event he has led design for Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, J Balvin, Karol G, YG and Nicki Minaj — work that has been recognised at the Grammys, the MTV VMAs and the ADG Awards.

As an Art Director he has collaborated closely with Production Designers Brandon Mendez (ADG 800) and Matthew Holt (ADG 800) on spots for Paycom, eBay and Walmart, and large-format music videos for Eminem, Justin Bieber and Jackson Wang. In the eyes of his peers he has earned a reputation as a master carpenter, welder and all-around fabricator — comfortable taking a project from concept sketches and 3D illustrations through to a finished, on-camera build.

Recently relocated to Toronto after more than a decade in Los Angeles, Wesley is now building toward the next chapter in the Canadian market — open to features, episodic, commercials, live event stage design and one-of-a-kind installation work.
